Ejnar Als Brix

Ejnar Als Brix is originally qualified as a carpenter and holds a Diploma of Education of Vocational Education and Training (VET). Alongside fellow teacher Martin Tomra, Brix is a pioneer within the Composite Department at TECHCOLLEGE. The two have developed the composite specialization within the blade operator education (a two-year VET), in close cooperation with leading Danish wind turbine manufacturers. Brix has 15 years of management experience and more than 10 years of teaching experience, during which his primary areas have included skills development, learning and communication within post-qualifying education. Among other subjects, Brix teaches technology of materials, work safety, and process skills. Regardless of the subject, his aim is to always ensure maximum value for the customer’s production. Brix assists international companies in the process of launching new production plants worldwide and participates in the certification of employees at various levels within the composite industry. Brix has developed and held courses for participants from China, USA, Canada, England, and other countries.

Martin Tomra

Martin Tomra is originally a qualified carpenter. Alongside Ejnar Brix, Tomra is a pioneer within the Composite Department at TECHCOLLEGE. Tomra has 10 years of management experience and more than 10 years of teaching experience, during which his primary areas have included skills development, learning and communication within post-qualifying education. The subjects Tomra teaches include technology of materials, work safety and process skills. Regardless of the subject, the aim is always to ensure maximum value for the customer’s production. Tomra also assists international companies in the process of launching new production plants worldwide and participates in the certification of employees at various levels within the composite industry. Martin has developed and held courses for participants from China, USA, Canada, England, and other countries.

Steen Pedersen

Steen Pedersen is originally qualified as a metalworker. He has worked within the composite industry for years with production, development and skills training. Pedersen has worked with development of injection and infusion techniques within the composite industry, and his specialty is vacuum infusion of carbon or fiberglass reinforced laminates. His experience with composite materials includes chemicals, as well as offshore and maritime industries; however, since 1981 Pedersen has primarily worked within the wind turbine industry, where he participated in the development of the infusion technology that paved the way for wind turbine blades to be cast in one piece.

Ronni Bach

Ronni Bach has years of work experience within the composite industry, including working for the largest Danish manufacturer of wind turbines. In addition to this, he has worked with training and management at boatyards. Bach has conducted Blade Training globally (including the USA, China, Morocco, Canada and England), and has participated in the development and planning of various training setups, including BladeSchool. Bach has developed and conducted a wide range of certificate courses within advanced structural repairs for global blade service technicians.

Johan Uppström

Johan Upström has many years of work experience within wind turbine manufacturing working at one of the largest Danish wind energy companies. This includes five years of teaching experience with emphasis on safety, process skills and technology of materials. Upström has taken part in training employees for new work processes, blade types and at plant launchings both nationally and internationally including Canada, Morocco and England. Furthermore, he has participated in the development and planning of various skills training setups, such as specialized training for specific parts of blade manufacturing.
